Lpca was started In the year 2012 by an orphaned girl who was passionate helping  orphans in the community. When she joined university she volunteered in children’s home whenever she was not school where she helped feeding the children, played with them and in the evening she could go back to the university hostel.

When she completed her university course she came back to the community where she gathered people of like minded and registered a community based organisation with the government of Kenya with the aim to change the living standards of the orphans, vulnerable children, disabled children, promote inclusiveness and to preserve and protect environment.
